Poetry is Coming in 2024!
April is National Poetry Month, a celebration of meter and rhythm, rhyme and words, of writing with rules – or throwing the rules and caution to the wind and speaking from the heart. We were thinking, what better way to celebrate National Poetry Month than to share some poetry with you? Then we answered our own question – maybe we could share YOUR poetry!
Our hope is to fill the world with poetry throughout the month of April. If you have a poem or two you would like to share with the Galaxy, you can submit it here. (A couple of notes – space constraints limit us to 10 lines, and Gal’s Guide has a focus on the feminine, in society, and in ourselves.)
Deadline March 17, 2024.
Rules for Submissions
- Poems must be less than 10 lines
- Poems should focus on the feminine
- Original material
- Keep poems PG-13 and under
- No hate speech
- Deadline: March 17, 2024
Rights
Writers grant Gal’s Guide Library permission to publish their poetry on social media. Writers retain full rights to their own work.
