Growing your own food is a revolutionary act. Whether you’re concerned about GMO foods, want to eat healthier, frustrated by the rising costs of groceries, or worried about food security, it’s a great time to cultivate your growing skills. If you’ve ever wanted to grow your own food but didn’t know where to start—this course is for you.

This three-part, live Zoom series will walk you through everything you need to know to grow your own food—from seed to harvest, and even saving seeds for the future. No green thumb required.

Class 1: Starting from Seed

Before you even plant a seed, you’ll need the right tools and knowledge. In this class, we’ll cover the essentials: gathering your materials, understanding frost dates and growing zones, finding your seeds, and decoding seed packets so you know exactly what you’re getting into.


Class 2: Taking Root
February 16

Ready to start growing? We’ll dig into everything you need to know to nurture your seeds into healthy plants: the materials, the right watering techniques, how and when to fertilize.


Class 3: Plant Parenthood
March 2

Your plant babies need attention to thrive! We’ll walk you through the process of hardening them off, transplanting them into the garden, and finding the best spots for them to grow strong. Plus, we’ll teach you how to save seeds for next year—because revolutionaries think ahead.
