Directed by Leslie Iwerks, the documentary tells the story of Ella Brennan who ran two of New Orleans successful and innovative restaurants; Brennan’s and Commander’s Palace. She created the jazz brunch, elevated creole cuisine, and hired amazing chefs. Two of the chef’s she mentored would become household names; Paul Prudhomme and Emeril Lagasse.
