Why Are Dragons So Cool?
With Dr. Leah Leach, founder of Gal’s Guide
“One aspect of dragon mythology comes from merging a snake and a bird. A snake is seen as being grounded and a creature of change. A snake’s ability to shed its skin is a metaphor for starting anew. A bird is seen as being able to soar to great heights, get a better perspective, and travel further. If you combine the two ideas you create a dragon that can be internally grounded, soar to great heights, and change its mind when it learns something new.” – Dr. Leah Leach
Leah will present more dragon wisdom plus give you your Year of the Dragon forecast.

Empower, Create, Thrive: Nurturing Your Inner Dragon.
With Melissa Jones, founder of Girls Positivity Club
Dive into the empowering vibes of the Year of the Dragon, explore women’s leadership traits, and swap stories of strength. Discover stress-relief tips and mindfulness hacks for that extra edge. Melissa will also lead a dragon-inspired art session to unleash your creativity.
What is Galentine’s Day?
Its origins are in the TV show Parks and Recreation (ironically a show that is fictionally based in Indiana). The episode “Galentine’s Day” has Leslie Knope (Amy Poler) reserving the day before Valentine’s Day for “Ladies celebrating ladies breakfast style.”
