About the Book
Until the Bones Shine was released in February 2022 from Midwinter Press. The debut memoir from author Elena Delhagen, it chronicles one woman’s tale of loss, love, family, and faith. With grit and grace, Delhagen recounts the fear and isolation of her childhood and the healing journey that takes her halfway around the world. In the deaths of loved ones, in the tatters of a broken marriage, and in the loneliness of a faraway land, Until the Bones Shine demonstrates the importance of looking for the light when life seems darkest.

About the Author
From https://elenadelhagen.com/
I’m mama to one child that I birthed, one child I adopted, and a four-legged furbaby. I’m also an immigrant, seminarian, and former expat. I am a self-professed coffee snob, ice cream enthusiast, idealist, loud laugher, Enneagram 1w2, and chronic over-sharer. My passions include the power of storytelling, snarky GIFs, cultivating the beloved community, the Oxford comma, and pizza. (Verrrrry passionate about pizza.)
My memoir, Until the Bones Shine, is a story of faith and family, love and loss, home and hope. I also write a lot about motherhood, being in seminary, embodiment, and how I’m walking out my calling as part of the resurrection people.
