On August 1, 2026 Gals Guide hosted a Tribute to Henrietta Lacks. The date was intentionally on the 106th Birthday of Henrietta. The event was deeply meaningful, wise and heartfelt. This tribute did talk about the hard truths of Henrietta’s life and her legacy. This tribute also made space to transform anger into healing.
