Gal’s Guide Anthology: Nourish

Our third annual book has a wonderful variety of stories on the theme of nourish.

Nourishment is stitched in the clothing we have worn, steeped in the food we have cooked, echoed in the roads we have traveled, and seen in unapologetic crowds singing their (version). Devour stories and poems from 33 diverse authors about the people, places, and moments that nourish.

This is the third anthology curated and published by Gal’s Guide; a unique women’s history lending library that preserves, shares, and champions women’s achievements. The Gal’s Guide Anthology is a yearly effort to hold open a space for insightful voices.

Published by Gals Guide Press. Available April 13, 2024.

About Gal’s Guide Press

Gal’s Guide Press was created out of the Gal’s Guide Library, the first women’s history lending library in the United States. Founded in 2016 Gal’s Guide has made its mission to provide an independent women’s history library to preserve, collect, share, and champion women’s achievements and lessons learned.

Gals Guide Anthology: Journey was released in 2023. Gals Guide Anthology: Women of History was released in 2022. Gal’s Guide will always be a place where all are welcome and women’s achievements and voices are preserved and shared.

I can’t even describe how exciting it was to receive the Silver award. I’m so proud to be a part of this anthology and to have my work included with that of the other authors included. It’s always fun to work with a good group, isn’t it? Thanks again to the Gal’s Guide!
