Are you ready for the next evolution of Gals Guide?
From our founder: Leah Leach
I’ve been hinting at and working on epic plans for the next evolution of Gals Guide. I’ve been working on this for years, and I’ve finally got the pieces of the puzzle to fit together. I needed to wait and pivot and brainstorm and problem solve and then finally, just tap into the courage of my convictions and announce go time. It’s go-time day!
Gals Guide has spent over 10 years learning from women of history! We’ve learned about women’s history in living rooms, restaurants, podcasts, books, and libraries. We’ve shared that hard-earned wisdom in fun ways, creative ways, meditative ways, and healing ways.
I took a deep look at what Gals Guide was good at. What people loved about Gals Guide. What we offered that no one else could offer. What spread ripples of positive change. And it wasn’t just books on the shelves…it was the meaning that a Gals Guide class brought to them. It was showcasing the subtle and bold ways that women overcome obstacles. How you too can overcome obstacles because if women of history did it with far less resources and rights – imagine what you can do?!!
Gals Guide is gathering our years of knowledge and becoming a women’s history academy. Gals Guide will be offering world-wide online classes using our unique teaching method. If you have taken our Feminine Healing and Creativity Writing Workshop you know first hand how powerful it is.
Gals Guide has already taught over 1,500 students! Our classes will be a gentle intellectual lane for people who want to learn and deep dive into women’s history for inner space and an interconnected community. These online classes will be for people who crave meaning and equity for women, as well as time to pause and reflect on the bigger picture. Our goal is to educate and inspire women to apply the authenticity, bravery, and creativity of the women who have been hidden in the shadows of history for too long. We will use the internet in a positive way!
Gals Guide will be seeking teachers from around the world to bring deep meaning to women’s history. And because it’s online – and not pinned to one physical location – there is access to more authors, experts, and living legends! Books will always be central to what we do – that’s why our lending-library collection will transition to a resource collection. Our museum objects are also being kept safe.
Soon enrollment will open for Fall 2026. We have an exciting list of classes for our first school year of Gals Guide Academy. To appease time, space and schedules, some of Gals Guide offerings will change or streamline. We do this in order to trim excess and reveal excellence…but don’t worry, our women’s history focus will always remain central.
First we were a collective conscientious awareness group (2013)
Then a conference (2016)
Then a library (2019)
Now…an academy (2026)
I’m so excited for this new evolution! It’s an opportunity to offer something meaningful, healing, and empowering for all women everywhere.
Wishing you wisdom and wellness,
Leah Leach
