ABOUT BONNIE
Since her first craft kits given to her as a kid on Christmas Day, Bonnie Fillenwarth has been a remarkable artist. Welcoming women of history as her muse, Bonnie creates pieces that stand the test of time and bring forgotten women back into the spotlight. Her most recognized work is her portrait of Hedy Lamarr radiating with the wi-fi code the actress invented. That suits Bonnie wonderfully as she herself is a self-proclaimed science nerd.
A featured artist of the Stutz Artist Association, Bonnie is working on 100 American Suffragists series for the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment. An Indianapolis native, Bonnie is a graduate of Herron School of Art and Design with a degree from Indiana University.
