There are many religious holidays in December. Hanukka, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Yule, Guru Gobind Singh’s Birthday, Christmas, St. Stephen Feast Day, Kwanzaa, Festivus, Krampusnacht, Advent, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Las Posadas, Winter Solstice, St. Lucia’s Day, Glorious Gaden Nga-choe, Boxing Day, as well as cultural festivals. It’s a wonderful time of year to share in the spirit of the last month of the Roman calendar. Because of this gathering of religious spirit, Gal’s Guide is putting a focus on female religious leaders throughout December.
