Poetry Gals

Our April theme is celebrating the poetess! Whether the poem rhymes or not we don’t care as long as it stirs up feelings within our lyrical soul.

First Friday

On April 7 the library is open from 12pm-9pm. To celebrate National Poetry Month we are hosting public poetry readings at 7:30pm and 8:30pm. You can either read an original piece, a poem you love, or a poem we have in the Gal’s Guide collection (for this public reading, let’s keep it to poems that are G, PG or PG-13.)

We also have Fairy Crafts in the library from 12pm-9pm! We need help with our community Fairy House and could use your skills to give our fairies color, decorate their apartment, or write them a welcome letter! Supplies are free.
