On July 26, 1990, the American Disability Act (ADA) was signed into law. To celebrate, the Gal’s Guide Library is putting a spotlight on the amazing disabled gals around the world and in our vibrant communities.

First Friday

July 7 is a wonderful day to stop by the library. We are open late from 12pm-9pm. Hang out

with the Gal’s Guide Crew and see what’s new!

History Faire

Participate in our History Faire! We’re looking for awesome people to research a person from Ham Co, create a presentation board, and dress up as their person for the Gal’s Guide History Faire. Not only is this quirky (and tons of fun) but there are prizes! Register before July 8.

Writer’s Galaxy Intensive

Jeff Couch is your guide for 3 days of writing. he’ll provide story prompts, a schedule, and instruction. Gal’s Guide will keep the space open for writers to connect with the stories that are within them.

LGBTQ+ Ally Meetup

For the member of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to have an open space for dialogue, and support. A place that protects inspires, and empowers the young and all.

Saturday, July 1 at 2pm

This month, Angela from Indiana Youth Group is our special speaker. She’ll tell us about the resources IYG has as well as host a Queer Bingo/Queer Trivia Game…with prizes!!!!!

Walking Club

This month Josh is leading a walking tour to learn about the Noblesville librarian Lulu Miesse. Join us for a walk around Noblesville.

We are welcome to all fitness levels. Dress for warm weather and apply sunblock. Subject to cancellation due to weather, keep an eye on our social media pages for cancellations.

Film Club

Our film this month is Crip Camp. A groundbreaking summer camp for teens with disabilities proves so inspiring that a group of its alumni join the radical disability rights movement to advocate for historic legislation changes.

Join us for an online study and practice of Buddhism.
